Do you know Taiwanese coffee?
That is true in Japan, but not so famous.
In fact, I myself do not know too much coffee in Taiwan. I heard about the place from a friend living in Taichung City, I headed for some coffee plantation. If I usually turn around Taiwan by bicycle, I think that cycling course by the sea should be the main.
But I ran the bicycle mainly on the mountain side. I think that the speed is slower than usual because of loading luggage. Especially when it comes uphill. To be honest, there were times when I asked myself "What are you doing?" Desperately pushing a bicycle for several hours, I got sweaty, I could not go beyond what I thought, I thought that if I came by taxi it would be too late.
Is not it a waste of time to feel painful? I thought. However, it was encouraging to wonder that such negative feelings came out.
While pushing the bicycle and going uphill, a voice saying "Hang in there" from the car going over me, running in parallel with me "Where did you come from?" "How far are you going?" It was done. He gave me drinks and food, or showed me photos uploaded to Facebook saying "I also ride a bicycle", even though the words did not convey well, I was transmitted with my heart. Every time my mind switched and I was able to progress little by little.
Put a tent under the coffee tree.

A park near the coffee plantation that I first visited. I was able to camp there. Until then, I put up my tent in an inconspicuous place in an ordinary park, and people cleaned up the tent before visiting the park. That's why I felt comfortably at ease here because I can put a tent at ease.
It was evening when I arrived. There were lots of coffee trees when I walked a little in the park. I was wondering why there are so many, but I put a tent under the big coffee tree. The next day, when walking in the park early in the morning, it was full of coffee trees all over, and the trees were not being groomed, but there were plenty of coffee fruits. Honestly I was a bit tired, but when I found a lot of fruit of coffee strangely, the tiredness also blew away.

It may not be true at all. But I can not stand it, it is three cups in a cup. I harvested fruit. I know the process of making coffee beans. I thought that it would be nice to roast in the middle of the trip and gathered a red fruit in my pocket.
The first coffee farm.

There is a cafe in coffee plantation in Taiwan, and there is coffee there. I'd like to order coffee and let me see the fields of coffee. In this place I first visited, he gently explained all the tools such as roaster and pulp removal machine.
What you see by looking directly and touching and feeling than looking at books and videos is quite different. No matter how much you know with your head, it is different from what you actually experience. It was a great learning experience for me and I gained experience.

I felt that I heard the story directly from the workers and had them experience at that place and I was glad that they really came. And it was time to harvest and the flowers of coffee bloom, I wanted to see the time.
